Simple Solutions:

Discarded fishing line and lead weights used for fishing are deadly to the loons and fish of Fence Lake.  Fishing line entangles birds and lead weights can be ingested by fish and then eaten by eagles and loons causing lead poisoning and early death.

We hope to reduce this pollution and hazard by setting up lead and fishing line collection tubes at all the public boat landings on our ten-lake chain.
